You can try to post on Instagram according to their recommendations to get the best engagement:

It’s important to set up automated posts correctly in order to maximize their effectiveness. There are several tools available that allow you to easily automate your Instagram posts, stories, and reels with just a few clicks. These tools usually offer features like scheduling multiple posts in advance and customizing them according to different criteria such as hashtags or captions.

I can recommend the following tools:

Analyzing Your Competitors

If you use Instagram for your business, analyze your competitors’ activity. It is important to keep an eye on the competition in order to stay ahead of them and maximize engagement with your own content and improve your Instagram strategy.

Analyze Your Competitors’ Posts

When analyzing your competitors’ posts, it is important to pay attention to how often they post, what type of content they share, and when their followers are most engaged. This will give you insight into which times may be best for posting your own content. Additionally, you should look at the types of hashtags that other businesses use in their posts as this could help you find more relevant hashtags for your own content.

Monitor Their Engagement Levels

Monitoring the engagement levels of other businesses can also provide valuable insights into when people are likely to engage with similar content from yourself or others within the same industry. You can do this by looking at likes, comments, shares and views on each post – all these metrics will tell you whether or not people like what has been posted and if there is potential for higher engagement during certain times throughout the day or week.

Use Insights To Make Data-Driven Decisions

Using insights from both your and competitor’s accounts can help inform data-driven decisions about when would be the best time for you to post new content on Instagram. This takes into account factors such as peak hours of activity among followers or even changes in trends over time due to seasonal shifts in user behavior patterns. By understanding how different types of audiences interact with different kinds of posts at various points throughout the day, week, month, and year – marketers have a better chance at optimizing their strategies accordingly.

By analyzing your competitors, you can gain valuable insights to inform your own strategy. Utilizing these insights will help you create a successful post on Instagram at the best time for maximum engagement.

FAQs: When’s the Best Time to Post on Instagram

What time is the most active on Instagram?

The most active time on Instagram is typical during weekday evenings, from 6pm to 9pm. This is when people are likely to be winding down after work and scrolling through their feeds for entertainment or inspiration. Additionally, research has shown that posting in the morning between 2am and 5am can also yield good results as this is when fewer businesses post content but users are still active online. Ultimately, it’s important to experiment with different times of day and days of the week in order to find what works best for your particular audience.

What is the best day to post on Instagram?

The best day to post on Instagram depends on your target audience and the type of content you are posting. Generally, Monday through Thursday tend to be the most popular days for posts as people may be more likely to engage with content during these times. However, if your audience is primarily active in the evenings or on weekends, it might make sense to adjust your posting schedule accordingly. Additionally, research suggests that posts published between 2-3pm EST receive higher engagement rates than those posted at other times of day. Ultimately, experimenting with different days and times can help you determine what works best for your specific situation.

Is it better to post on Instagram at night or in the morning?

It depends on the type of business and its target audience. Generally, businesses that are targeting a younger demographic should post in the evening as this is when they are most active online. Morning posts may be more effective for businesses with an older demographic since those users tend to check their accounts earlier in the day. Additionally, if your goal is to reach a global audience, consider posting at different times throughout the day to capture people from all time zones. Ultimately, testing different times and tracking engagement will help you determine what works best for your business.

Wrap Up

In conclusion, when’s the best time to post on Instagram depends on your audience and industry. It is important to analyze your own audience and competitors in order to find the optimal times for posting.

Utilizing insights from Instagram can also help you determine when is the best time for you to post content. Additionally, testing different times and automating posts are two other strategies that can help you maximize engagement with your followers.

By taking all of these factors into consideration, you will be able to identify what works best for your business so that you can create an effective strategy for promoting yourself on Instagram.

Trying to understand what a good engagement rate is? In this blog post, we’ll explore exactly what Instagram Engagement Rate (ER) is, and show you how to track yours over time using an engagement rate calculator.

Engagement Rate (ER) is a crucial metric for understanding how successful your content strategy and overall presence are performing, as it reflects followers’ interaction with posts, stories, and reels.

Low ER indicates that the audience does not like the content.

Extremely low ER can indicate that most of the influencers’ followers are bots or inactive accounts. If you are trying to understand whether it is worth buying advertising from an influencer, then you can read my article: Best Fake Follower Checker Tools (Free and Paid)

A high ER can be an indication that followers find value in what you’re sharing – so learning how to boost this number of likes and comments, should be at the top of your list!

What is an Engagement Rate on Instagram?

The engagement rate is a metric used to measure the level of interaction between an account and its followers. It’s calculated by dividing the total number of engagements (likes, comments, shares) on a post by the total number of followers that account has.

Post Engagement Rate = (Likes + Comments)/Followers * 100%

For example, the post below has 42,400 likes and 206 comments. Thus, the ER of this post would be (42400+206)/856000 *100% = 0.05%. Where 856 000 is the number of followers.

Post engagement rate is a good metric if you want to compare posts, but if you want to compare two influencers, you should use the Average Engagement Rate.

Average Engagement Rate = ((Likes + Comments)/Followers)/Count of Posts* 100%

Firstly, you should determine how many posts you want to include in the Average Engagement Rate. Usually, it’s 12, but if the influencer makes posts very often, e.g. 3 times per day, better analyze all posts for the last 30 days.

Well, let’s look at the same account and calculate the average ER:
(2,794,424+410,871+360,196+485,698+147,586+320,658+270,635+354,257+450,235+354,698+264,874+2,896,547) / 856,000 / 12 * 100% = 0.78%

Calculating ER takes a lot of time.

That’s why we advise using an Instagram engagement calculator like HypeAuditor where you can find ER in a second.

It’s important for creators and businesses to track their ER in order to gauge how successful they are at connecting with their audience and creating content that resonates well enough for people to take action (like or comment).

If your business’s posts consistently receive low levels of engagement compared to similar accounts in your industry, then it may be time for you to rethink your content strategy or consider partnering up with influencers who already have engaged audiences.

Instagram engagement rate calculator

There are a lot of different options available. Each one of these calculators has its own unique benefits so it’s important to explore them all in order to get an accurate understanding of your Instagram performance.

Here are some of my favorites that we used for fast-checking influencer audience quality:

1. HypeAuditor

HypeAuditor Rate Calculator, which offers accuracy and reliability. It provides detailed statistics on user engagement and includes features such as post reach and likes, number of comments, and average engagement rate for each post.

2. Grin

Another great calculator is Grin Instagram Engagement Rate Calculator, takes into account the quality of content, account size, and other factors when calculating your engagement rate.

3.Phlanx

Phlanx Instagram Analytics tool lets you track your followers over time as well as see how people are engaging with your content.

The good the bad and the average Instagram engagement rate for Influencer Marketing.

When looking into potential partnerships brands should pay attention not just to overall numbers but also specific metrics for an Instagram account such as comment ratio (comments divided by likes), response time (how quickly this person respond back), and used hashtags and captions.

All these things combined help paint a clearer picture regarding whether or not working together makes sense from both sides. A good influencer ER depends largely on the size of its following. However, any amount above 3% could be considered “good” or even “great” depending on the context/industry/platform.

My team does a lot of influencer marketing, and we have deduced for ourselves the pattern of what engagement on Instagram should be for which creator depending on the followers count.

Nano-influencers ER (5,000 to 10,000 followers)

The engagement rate of nano influencers is typically higher than other tiers of influencers because they have smaller, more engaged audiences. We found that the average ER for Nano Influencer is 4.5%. A good ER is all over 5%. But if ER for Nano-influencer is lower than 2% that’s probably means there a lot of fake followers.

Micro-influencers ER (10,000 to 100,000 followers)

The engagement rate of micro-influencers can vary greatly depending on the niche they are in, the type of content they post, and the size of their following. Generally speaking, though, micro-influencers average ER is 1.9%. Accounts with more than 50K followers should aim for at least 1%.

Macro-influencers ER (100,000 to 1,000,000 followers and more)

Macro influencers tend to be celebrities or well-known personalities in their field of expertise and command higher prices for sponsored posts. Collaboration with this type of influencer is important for brands looking to reach a larger audience. By working with macro influencers, brands can leverage their reach and impact to create broader awareness for their products or services.

But usually, macro-influencers average engagement rate is 1.2% or even lower. For instance, an Instagrammer with 500k+ followers might not get excited over 2% since that means 25k+ likes per post which isn’t particularly impressive considering some top-tier accounts easily hit 6 figures per post.

FAQs in Relation to Instagram Engagement Rates

What are good engagement rates on Instagram?

Engagement rates on Instagram vary greatly depending on the type of content you post, your audience size, and other factors. Generally speaking, an ER of 1-3% is considered good for most accounts. However, if you have a larger following or are posting more engaging content such as stories or reels, it’s possible to achieve higher ERs up to 8-10%.

Is a 10% engagement rate on Instagram good?

A 10% ER is impressive for most businesses on Instagram. Typical that high rates can be only on Nano-Influencers’ accounts.

What is a good Instagram engagement rate 2023?

The average Instagram ER for 2023 is expected to be around 3.2%. This means that on average, for every 100 followers a business has, they can expect about 3.2 people to engage with their posts (likes, comments, shares).

What is a good ER for 1000 followers?

The ER for 1000 followers will vary depending on the type of content you are sharing and the audience that you have. Generally, an average ER of 1-3% is considered good. This means that 10-30 people out of your 1000 followers should be engaging with your posts in some way (liking, commenting, or sharing). If you are consistently achieving higher than 3%, then this could indicate that your content is resonating well with your audience.

Conclusion

Knowing what a good ER on Instagram is and how to increase it can help you make better decisions when it comes to content creation and influencer outreach.

First, let’s clarify there is no good or bad influencer. When collaborating with an influencer, it is crucial to ensure that you are paying a fair price for the opportunity to reach their audience.

When it comes to influencer marketing, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. While some influencers may charge a hefty price for reaching their audience, others may offer more affordable alternatives that may be better suited to your budget.

In this blog post, we will explore how to audit an influencer’s account and check whether his thousands of followers are fake profiles or real people.

What are Fake Followers?

Fake followers are automatically created accounts, usually run by bots, that are used to increase the number of followers an account has. Fake followers don’t interact with the account they are following, and they are often created to make an account look more popular than it is.

Inactive audiences or fake Instagram followers?

Inactive audiences, on the other hand, are real followers who have followed an account but do not interact with it. Inactive audiences may make a statement look larger, but they are not actively engaging with the content. This can be problematic for brands and influencers looking to engage with their followers and create meaningful interactions. This Inactive audience is usually collected during giveaways or mass following.

How to check fake Facebook followers?

Checking fake Facebook followers is a straightforward process that requires a bit of investigation. We will use tools that show Instagram account analytics.

We will analyze these parameters for fake follower check:

Audience quality – who are their followers

Where are the influencer’s followers located

Follower growth

Engagement rate

First, you should look at the number of followers each account has and compare it to the amount of activity they have on their page. If the follower count is significantly higher than the amount of activity, those followers are likely fake.

Additionally, look for profiles with few or no friends, posts, or other activity, as this could indicate fake influencers.

Who are their followers?

Followers are people who follow an Instagram influencer on social media. They may be a fan of the influencer or someone interested in what they have to say. Fake followers are profiles with a profile picture but no real person behind them. They are usually created by bots and used to boost likes and comments on posts, making spam. An influencer needs a quality audience that engages with their content instead of using fake followers, leading to higher social engagement. Additionally, using fake followers to boost your numbers is not wise, as it could potentially hurt your reputation in the long run.

Where are the influencer’s followers located?

The location of an influencer’s followers is a key factor in determining their success. Generally speaking, influencers with a more global reach tend to have followers worldwide. However, it is important to note that many influencers have fake followers. Fake followers are typically located in countries that offer cheap labor and can be used to inflate follower numbers, giving the impression of a larger audience.

It is important for potential customers or brands looking to partner with an influencer to do their due diligence and check for any suspicious or unusual patterns in where the influencer’s followers are located. Doing so will help them ensure that they are reaching the intended demographic rather than wasting money on fake accounts.

How much have their followers grown?

You should expect successful, authentic influencers to increase their Instagram followers gradually over time. This is because they post interesting and relevant content to their followers. This growth is organic, and if you look at a graph of their followers, you should see a steady and gradual upward trend.

However, if you see a sudden and significant increase in followers, this could be a sign that the influencer has purchased fake followers.

Free Instagram Fake Followers Audit Tool

One of the most remarkable things about the times we live in is how marketing has changed, especially over the last few years, with the growing use of social media.

This growth has given way to one of the most successful digital marketing techniques to make a brand known to the world. We are talking about influencer marketing.

You have likely already heard about social media marketing and influencers but are wondering how they can benefit you, your product, and your brand.

Because the subject is quite extensive, we will focus on what influencer marketing strategy is and how to make it work for you in this article.

What Is Influencer Marketing?

In lay terms, influencer marketing is when an online influencer collaborates or teams up with a particular brand to promote a product or service or increase the brand’s recognition.

An excellent influencer marketing example is what many beauty brands and makeup companies do consistently collaborating with content creators who do product reviews and showcase beauty techniques to encourage their followers to try the product on themselves, driving an increase in sales and brand awareness.

An influencer marketing strategy can have a widespread impact thanks to social media and other online outlets.

It can be easy to think that you need a celebrity influencer to make TikTok videos instead of appearing in a TV commercial. Nothing is further from the truth.

Nowadays, just about anybody can be an influencer, especially on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

The secret to influencer marketing is the number of followers who believe the influencer is an expert in their field. This expertise can be in almost any industry, from home cooking to high-tech cybersecurity.

Another vital aspect of influencer marketing is that influencers don’t have to be celebrities with millions of followers. The reality is that only a few thousand followers can create the desired effect.

An influencer’s followers can share their videos on social media, creating a ripple effect that directly impacts a brand’s recognition and boosts sales.

How Effective Is Influencer Marketing?

As more and more people start depending on social media and online reviews to help them make decisions about products or services, influencer marketing has become one of the most effective ways to increase a brand’s visibility and recognition.

Some reports show that nearly 90% of marketers find their ROI comparable or better with influencer marketing than other channels, and 60% of marketers agree that an influencer marketing campaign has a higher ROI than traditional advertising.

Common Misconceptions

While it is easy to think of influencer marketing as finding anybody with a few thousand followers and offering them some money to promote a product or service, this is the complete opposite of what the concept is.

Most influencers have invested a lot of time to create a sizable group of followers and build their reputations. Influencers know their followers trust their opinions, so they work hard to protect their brand, refusing to sell just any product to their audience.

Influencer marketing is about building confidence in your brand. This confidence is boosted by someone others trust, which takes time and patience, qualities that every successful influencer will have.

An effective influencer marketing campaign requires followers who are engaged and loyal to a specific brand, just as they are to the influencer’s brand, so when you start thinking about influencer marketing, you should approach the right person for the job, regardless of their number of followers.

Finding a potential influencer who trusts your brand is best, although this is not always possible. You must build that relationship, which takes time.

How Influencer Marketing Can Benefit Your Brand

The days of generic celebrity endorsement are long gone. Today, audiences know that the influencer has actually used the product because they have watched their videos.

Influencer marketing is about trust and works similarly to word-of-mouth recommendations but on a much larger scale.

Think about it in simple terms: Before the boom of online marketing, when you needed a recommendation for a product or service, you would talk to your friends or family, people you trust, and use their opinion to make your own purchasing decision.

Audiences see influencers as trustworthy sources of information, so if they are using a product, they will likely do so too. A relevant influencer’s authority on the subject will increase your brand’s credibility, boosting your sales, social proof, and presence in the industry.

Lastly, influencer marketing can translate to increased sales and works much better for raising brand awareness than any other form of advertising or branded content among social media users.

Marketing emails might end up in the spam folder or go unopened, but those who follow a social media influencer online will continue to engage with your brand as long as the influencer marketer continues to produce content marketing they can relate to.

As their followers continue to share influencer content, more and more people will become interested in what you have to offer, increasing engagement and creating an even larger target audience with each video shared.

Choosing a brand ambassador or content creator for your influencer campaign will help you reach people you wouldn’t have had access to in more traditional marketing efforts. Influencer marketing is one of the most successful marketing techniques today.
